Avenza (Carrara, Italy), November 2017 _ 2017 has undoubtedly been a successful year for CCN, who, following the signature of the contract for the construction of MY Freedom for fashion designer Roberto Cavalli and the great response of the market to the presentation of 50 m MY Elsea at the latest boat shows, is now announcing the sale of a 102’ Flyingsport yacht for a couple from the United States. The new contract was secured with the support of Tom Caruso, from Total Marine, representing the Owners.
The new 31 m yacht, in composite material, will be characterized by slender lines and a skilful combination of the comfort ensured by a flying bridge, on the one hand, and the sporty features and considerable speed typical of large open yachts on the other, resulting in outstanding style and functionality.
With her light metallic champagne shade, the yacht exudes refined elegance and a strong personality. Two MTU engines will push her to a maximum speed of 40 knots. Another peculiarity of this vessel will be her limited draught (1.20 m only), which will allow for fast cruising even in the shallow American waters, as explicitly required by the Owners.
The interiors were pencilled by a well known Italian designer specifically requested by the owners who has conceived a typically American layout, with a spacious open-space kitchen located on the main deck.
The yacht is expected to be delivered in summer 2018.
CCN, which has been part of the Gavio Group since 2011, together with the Baglietto and Bertram brands, specialises in the construction of 86’ and 102’ high-performing planning fibreglass yachts. This year the ‘Flyingsport’ line was joined by a new series of Expedition boats in steel and aluminium called ‘Phileas’ and pencilled by Studio Vallicelli, as well as by the production of ‘small mega yachts’ between 24 m and 35 m in length – also in steel and aluminium – designed by Studio Spadolini. Flexibility, together with the utmost care for the Client’s wishes, is indeed the key feature of the entire product range proposed by CCN, as in the new projects signed by Bacigalupo (Lysithea50), Carlo Cerri (CCN 33Flying Comfort) and Stefano Vafiadis (33 e 36 DOM). With the “Fuoriserie” line, the range that the Carrara-based boat builder is offering the market extends further, resulting in a very diversified series of products between 24 and 35 metres and fully-custom vessels coming in different materials.
